Short version: patient photos in the smile simulator are never stored. Our widgets on practice websites set no cookies and track no one. On aadismiles.com we use analytics and advertising tags, and we keep the details practices and visitors give us so we can provide our tools and follow up. We don't sell personal information.

Visitors to aadismiles.com
- We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel on our marketing and account pages to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These set cookies on aadismiles.com. They are not used in the widgets we place on practice websites.
- To improve our pages, we measure how visitors use them (how far they scroll, which sections they see, what they click) and may use Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymized page interactions such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement to produce heatmaps and session replays. Text you type into forms is masked and not recorded. These tools are not used in your dashboard or in the widgets on practice websites.
- When you sign up, start a checkout or request an AI visibility check, we may send a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your email address to Meta to measure ad performance.
Free AI visibility check
- We collect the practice name, city, website and your email address, plus your role and phone number if you give them.
- To build your report we ask AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity) and Google public questions about dental practices in your area, and read your public website and Google Business Profile. This runs through our data providers.
- We email you the report, keep it and your details in our customer records, and may follow up about it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your message and contact details are emailed to our team and kept in our customer records so we can reply and follow up.
Practice accounts
- We store the practice name, website, booking page, contact email, Google Business Profile locations you add, and your tool settings.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
Our widgets on practice websites
- AI smile simulator: a visitor's photo is sent encrypted, processed in memory by our AI provider (Google Gemini, on a paid tier where content is not used for training) and discarded. Neither the photo nor the preview is stored. Visitors agree before uploading.
- Google reviews widget: shows the practice's public Google rating, review count and selected public reviews.
- Video reviews: videos are uploaded by the practice, which confirms it has each patient's written consent. We store and serve the videos so they can play on the practice's website, and delete them when the practice removes them.
- Review booster: we count star ratings anonymously. Private feedback a patient chooses to send is emailed to the practice and not stored by us. Patients are asked not to include medical details.
- To prevent abuse, we use short-lived hashed identifiers derived from IP addresses. They cannot be turned back into an IP address.
- The widgets set no cookies and contain no analytics or advertising tags.
Service providers
We use Google Cloud (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google Gemini and Google Places (AI and business data), DataForSEO (search and AI answer data), Calendly (booking calls), Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Meta (analytics and ad measurement). They process data on our behalf to provide these services.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for advertising measurement, by emailing support@tryaadismiles.com.
- If you live in California, you have these rights under California law, including the right to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't sell personal information, and we won't discriminate against you for using your rights.
- You can also block cookies in your browser.
Retention and security
We keep account data while your account is active and customer records until you ask us to delete them. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to the people and providers who need it.
Children
Our services are for dental practices and are not directed at children.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change, and email account holders about significant changes.
