Patient photos (widget users)

When a website visitor uses the smile simulator, their photo is transmitted encrypted, processed in memory by our AI provider (Google Gemini, on a paid tier where content is not used for model training), and immediately discarded. Neither the uploaded photo nor the generated preview is ever stored — by us, by the dental practice, or by the AI provider. Upload requires the visitor's explicit consent, given via checkbox before processing.

What we do record

Anonymous daily counters per clinic: number of previews generated and booking-button clicks.
A short-lived, hashed identifier derived from the visitor's IP address, used only to enforce per-visitor daily limits. It cannot be reversed into an IP address and expires daily.

We use no cookies and no tracking pixels in the widget.

Subscriber data (dental practices)

For subscribing practices we store: practice name, website domain, booking page URL, and contact email — used to operate the widget and send your embed code and monthly reports. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Your rights

Subscribers can request access to or deletion of their account data at any time at hello@aadismiles.com. Since patient photos are never stored, there is no patient photo data to request or delete.
