Photos are processed in memory and deleted immediately — nothing is ever stored, so there is no PHI at rest and no photo database. Patients consent explicitly before uploading. We deliberately avoid the compliance-checkbox game by not keeping the data in the first place. If your compliance officer has questions, we're happy to walk them through the architecture.
